CalFresh recipients who enroll in the ¡Más Fresco! More Fresh Program receive $4 in rebate dollars for every CalFresh benefit dollar spent on qualifying fruits and vegetables. You can earn a maximum of $50 per month of rebate dollars.
Program Requirements
Program participants must be a CalFresh recipient, at least 18 years of age or older, and shop at a participating Northgate González Market.
The ¡Más Fresco! More Fresh Program is a partnership between UC San Diego Health, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Northgate González Market. The ¡Más Fresco! More Fresh Program provides rebate dollars to CalFresh recipients when they purchase fresh, frozen, dried and canned fruits and vegetables, without added sugars, fats, oils, or salt (i.e. sodium) , with the CalFresh benefits on their EBT card. CalFresh recipients who enroll in this program receive $4 in rebate dollars for every CalFresh benefit dollar spent onqualifying fruits and vegetables at participating Northgate González Markets. ¡Más Fresco! More Fresh Program participants can earn up to $50 per month of rebate dollars.

More Fresh Program aims to help community members not only stretch their food dollars but adopt healthy food choices and physical activity behaviors that will lead to optimal health and well-being. Through our Healthy Eating and Active Living (physical activity) community outreach and engagement programs and campaigns, we provide community members with healthy eating and active living tips and resources to make the healthy choice the easy choice.
